These pictures were taken on a “round the world” trip in 2004. The main places we visited were New Zealand and Hawaii, with stopovers in Hong Kong, Sydney and Los Angeles on the way around. Some of the highlights of the trip were cruising overnight on the Doubtful Sound on New Zealand's South Island with wild dolphins playing around the boat (where other than a few people kayaking there is no-one else in the Sound at all), watching Sperm whales in Kaikoura and watching the New Years Eve fireworks in Sydney. As we were travelling around during Christmas time, it was great to see how different the decorations in each country were - my favourites were the mixture of traditional decorations in and around the ultra modern high rise buildings in Hong Kong, and Santa on a surfboard towed by Dolphins in Hawaii.
